GRRR!

Check it out! Last night Dad gave me a busy bone to chew on and let me tell you that when I get one of these delicious treats, something happens inside of me that I just can't explain but I have to protect my treasure. If anyone comes close, I like to growl a bit and snarl to let them know it is mine. I know, not quite lady-like, but I can't help it. Normally I share, but when it comes to yummy food and treats, I have a bit of a selfish streak.

Turducken

This picture may be enough to make anyone into a vegetarian...but not for dogs! It's heaven. Have you all heard about this crazy Thanksgiving meal called turducken? It's endless meats stuffed inside each other. The way you make it is a turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken. (It looks like the picture also shows stuffed with stuffing too...and side note: Yahoo News states that: "While the origin of the large meal is disputed, searchers in New Jersey and Virginia are the most interested in figuring out how to make one." Make your own judgments about that tidbit.) Well, you know how we pups love our meat products. The only way this could be any better is if it was a turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken stuffed with veal stuffed with pork stuffed with ground beef, tied together with strips of bacon. It's a barnyard reunion!

Hungry? It's almost Thanksgiving!

I totally can understand this feeling...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been getting ready for Thanksgiving and the upcoming feast we will be having! Turkey day is one of my favorite holidays. I get spoiled with all sorts of people food from the table. Dads have planning underway for the big meal, which is only a week away. Can you believe it? The best part is we'll have some family here for the first Thanksgiving holiday in our new place. Grandma Kay and Aunt Kathy will be up for the weekend to visit. I'm eager to see them, especially because Grandma loves to play and run me wild around the house. I'll post more on their trip and the glorious food spread as it develops...

Making Ladies

Back to the Scissor Sisters...Of course, since I am a lady, this post fits naturally. In all of the election hulabaloo, I figured we need some levity and celebration. (Side note: for some reason I was turned away at the polls yesterday: vast right wing conspiracy I tell you! I gave my correct address and was told by the old lady that dogs are not allowed to vote!)

Anyway, getting back to things, here it one of the most bonkers songs I have heard in a long time. It is so nutty and good. A bonus track called "Making Ladies" that is sure to delight. Give it a listen. You'll be glad you did.

Sissor Sisters: "Making Ladies"

And while I'm thinking of it, as you listen to it, you'll probably start thinking about the good old sisters and how much they remind you of another favorite band of mine...the Electric Mayhem (see picture).

Happy Wednesday!! (And since we are on the subject of ladies...yay go Nancy...in da House!!)
