HAPPY 100TH POST TO ME!

Well it's hard to believe that I have been blogging for over a year now? Has it really been that long already? Well, leave me a little shout of congratulations if you'd like to let me know if you've enjoyed reading my random barkings. I love getting comments on my blog. I wonder where the next 100 posts will take me? Last night my dads snapped this pic of me working on my blog in honor of my little milestone here. I could write something deep and profound about having a voice with new technology in the 21st century, but I'm just a dog, what do I know? Cheers!

May the Farce Be With You

Hey,
since Halloweenie is coming up, of course people all over are dressing up their pets. There are no plans in the works to give me an extreme makeover (that I know about) but the dads usually try to get me a fantastic and pretty outfit for Christmas. I also have to start planning what fantastic Xmas card image I will do this year...but in the meanwhile, enjoy these pics of dogs whose owner nerds have far too much time on their hands. See ya!

Scissor Sisters!

Again, my Dads tell me the best part about being in Boston is that you can catch pretty much any show that is on tour...and last night the left me home alone to snuggle into the couch and nap while they took in an awesome show. The Scissor Sisters are touring to promote their new, second CD, Ta-Dah, which Dad Eric has been playing a lot lately and I enjoy dancing around the house with him to it. If you haven't heard their new single "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'", where have you been? They played it on Dancing With the Stars a few weeks back even, for gosh sakes! So if you haven't heard of them, I'd describe them as a mash of Elton John, Bee-Gees, and Deee-Lite, with a healthy dose of rock thrown in for good measure. Highly entertaining.

Dads say the show was great and music fanitastic. A great band to see live, super high energy. They played at the Orpheum Theater, which was a cool venue, not too big, just right size to be close enough to the action. Boston was the last stop on their U.S. leg, probably because they are more popular in Europe, were they actually get heavy radio play, unlike here...stupid, stupid Americans...Have a great Monday, if there is anything good about Mondays...the back to work day.

Sunday Nights

Well, Sunday nights for the last four weeks (according to Dad Mike) have been a tiny little feast in front of the tube enjoying Desperate Housewives, while the dads tap away at their laptops sometimes, drowning the sorrow that they have to return to work the next day with a yummy spread of goodies from Trader Joes and Whole Foods...Check out the pic! Sweet! Last week Dad made banana bread and topped it with a cream cheese frosting and fresh raspberries. There was baked brie with mushrooms, apricot stilton, and...hungry yet? But this week also there were slices of beef stick and cheese and crackers! Which, of course, while the boys were in the kitchen out making tea, I helped myself to a slice or two of beef stick from the buffet on the coffee table! How could I resists my meats?? I was caught, but again, it was well worth it.

Just a few more Lounging in the Sun Shots...

Thought you all would enjoy seeing more of me trying my hardest to be adorable...
Oh and a shout out (bark, I suppose) to my Grandpa in Erie who sent me some Rawhide dental chews for my teeth that were yummy. Thanks!

Lounging in the Sun

Hiya all...
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy. you know how hectic a dog's life can get. Well, since it is a holiday and the Dads have off today (Columbus Day), we've been just resting up, the three of us (well, Dad Mike still goes in to work sometimes on days off, but that's just because he is so incredibly dedicated).
So this morning while "playing frog" (which consists of throwing and chasing a stuffed plush squaky frog toy, and thrashing it), I ripped the seam finally and got the stuffing out! It is my favorite thing to do as I may have mentioned before to pull out all the fluffy innards all over the floor. So after the excitement, I took it to the kitchen where there is a nice sunny spot as the warm rays filter in from the window. Dad Eric took some pictures of it to capture the moment.
Hope everyone is having a great day. Speaking of basking in the sun, the weather went back up from chilly to a beautiful sun-drenched day, doesn't seem like fall at all except for the turning of the leaves. In a minute, when I finish blogging, Dad Eric and I are going to go for a walk and soak it up while we have the chance.
