'Tis the Season once again

Well, since it is now after thanksgiving and the season is upon us...this is for anyone who did not get to see my Xmas card from last year. I was a tiny little reindeer. Yeah, the picture just about says it all. This year, my dad has something even more exciting planned for the cards, but I won't tell the secret just yet. When he gets the photo done, I'll post it here later. But for now, enjoy Rudolph's stand-in.

Pope Frida

It's a little known fact that between Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict, I was elected Pope. My tenure was very brief and kept quite hush-hush, because, well, first of all the Church has had a very hard time deciding to ordain women. So to make a long story short, when they found out I'm a lady, the offer was recinded. Now, I have to fufill my duties as runner-up, should Benedict get shot or something. Like Vice-Pope. Or Miss America. But for one fleeting moment, I got to wear the big hat and carry the crucifix stick and stand on the balcony and bless the crowds like Evita. But, don't cry for me, Argentina, I'm sure I'll find other work.

Buttery Goodness

Today I'm going to write about another of my favorite things, to quote Julie Andrews. Keebler Toasted crackers are a guilty pleasure of mine. I think I eat more of these than regular dog treats sometimes. They are crispy and crunchy and buttery and I love 'em. They are especially good with beef stick (see previous post) but I'll take them just plain too. And they are usually on sale around the holidays, so I encourage everyone to stock up! yum.

More gift ideas

Well, since my dads started shopping for the holidays, I'd like to suggest another item. This one I found on ebay and I think I'd have a great time romping around the house in these snappy overalls and polo sweater. Just a hint, dads.

Catalog Shopping

Well, of course you know there isn't a whole lot to do during the "boring portion" of my day when the dads go to work and leave me home all alone, so I've taken to reading the catalogs that they leave on the coffee table. And it's that time of year when the holiday ones come out. So I decided to pass the time by making a list of the things I'd like for Christmas. Here's the first item I spotted...Hickory Farms Beef Stick. It's one of my favorite things EVER, with or without Keebler Toasted crackers. What's not to like?? And, Dads, if you're reading this (hint, hint)...pleasingly priced at just $20 for the jumbo stick. Yum!

Dad and me...

Ok, I promise this is the last post of me and my evening gown dress. But me and dad looked so cute and cuddly and happy here, I just couldn't resist! Tomorrow I'll have to start blogging about our new place!! (They let me sleep on the bed now! I was confused at first last night and went to the couch, thinking the rules from our old apartment still applied. But maybe because they plan on keeping the temperature colder in the house cause of gas prices and feel pity for my tiny shivering body, or else they got used to having me at the foot of the bed...or maybe they're just pushovers!! My dads are putty in my furry little paws.)

Me and Dad Playin'

Here's a pic of me and Dad Mike playing. He likes to tease me until I bark at him. His favorite place to do this is when he's standing at the bottom of the basement stairs and I'm at the top! I'm going to try to be a good guard dog at the new apartment. I've been working on my growls!

Here's a photo of our family. This was taken by grandma and shows my dads and me in my black dress from Target.

Random thoughts...

Here's me sittin' pretty. Just a random photo taken by my dad at our old place. We lived upstairs and now our house is all on one floor. It's different but I like it. I'll have to get some pictures of me playing with my squishy football in the yard! There is so much space for me to go berzerk in and it's all fenced in. There's a cool black poodle next door that I plan to make new friends with...

I told you I hate baths.

One more pic to prove it.

The happiest girl in the world!

Here is a picture of me just after I was adopted by my dads and taken home. They are the best. I get lots of treats and toys from them; they spoil me so much. The only time I don't like it is when they go to work during the day. Then it gets so boring. I mostly sleep to pass the time until they get home. Moving in to our new house has been fun. They let me unpack my old toys one by one and thrash them and pull the stuffing out. It's nice to have my old couch back to sleep on. And you should see the back yard! OMG! I'll tell ya more about that later. Last night we sat in the house and waited to give out candy to little creatures that came to the door. There was a blinking skeleton, the thing, a bat creature, and a genie. I barked at them some for scares.
