Cassandra Wilson
Hey folks!
One of the perks of living in Boston now is that my Dads get to see some great acts that tour this way. Last night they came home from a concert to tell me about a great jaz/blues/pop musician/vocalist they saw called Cassandra Wilson. She's got this great deep, smoky voice and the guys tell me she was absolutely brilliant. She played a number of tunes from her new "Thunderbird" CD which I will highly recommend here. Download these tracks from the album now: "I Wants to Be Loved", "It Would Be So Easy", "Closer to You", "Go to Mexico".

Mopey
Hi all.
Thought I'd share some pictures of me being coy. This is the expression I use to get extra walks. If I play up the sad expressions, I tend to get more frequent walks! Am I being manipulative? Maybe. Am I being adorable? Definitely! Speaking of, it is a gorgeous day here in Boston, I have been lounging in the sun much of today, so Ta-ta, it is time for a walk.

Baby did a bad, bad thing...
OOOPS. I was caught red-handed. Well, since dogs don't have hands, maybe that would be red-pawed, I don't know. All I know is that I cannot tell a lie, my Dads left the dining room for a minute and I just couldn't help myself because there was a piece of Dad Mike's Vanilla Bean cheesecake from the Cheescake Factory, sitting right there on the dining room table. How could I resist? Would you? I hopped up to the chair and then onto the table and before I could finish it off, Dad busted me! Of course I got in trouble but not before some incriminating pictures could be taken my Dad Eric. Well there's no denying it now, I guess. But it was all worth it...creamy yummy cheesecake. Now I know why those Golden Girls go completely nuts over this delectible dessert. (And secretly, just so you know, it was so good, I bet I'd do it again if I had the chance...)

Squirrel Heaven
Hi Guys and Gals!
I have been enjoying my morning and afternoon walks around my new neighborhood while Dad Eric is on his temporary "vacation" from work! It's nice having a Dad home at sometimes during the day. It makes my day less boring and less about napping! It has been a bit cooler Fall weather the past couple of days, but still sunny during the afternoons. It is beautiful up here at this time in the New England area. The best part about our neighborhood is the bountiful amounts of squirrels that live in the trees lining the streets. I have gotten into the habit of looking up the trees when I pass by each one to see what critters are sneaking up and down the bark. I hope I catch one someday. I try a lot.
I have some new pictures to post, but alas, not today. You'll have to wait a bit for those until I am technologically up and running at full capacity (these things take time!)...But for now, I miss everyone back home in Erie and those of you from other far flung places that read and follow my blog, shouts out to you too! Dad had a second interview today and it went pretty well...more on that as it develops...

Testing, testing...Just checking in, folks
Well, for everyone who checks this page frequently, I apologize for the lack of updates. Dad and I survived the 8 hour trip with only 2 pee stops (believe it!) and with the help of some peanut butter ritz bits and Barnum's animal crackers. I have't been able to update my blog lately because of "technical difficulties"...The difficulty being that the Dads have no phone line yet and thus no internet connection! Dad Eric just bought a new laptop at circuit city (which denied his first credit card! ooops, I guess the bank wondered why he was charging a new laptop in a different city!) the other day and via PANERA's wonderful free wireless (yay panera!!) we are now able to manage an update of sorts. Give me a shout out, folks, to say hi and that you still care and I will try to get a disc with some new pictures for future posts. Stick around and keep checking back, this move thing may make things all bumpy, but I will do my best.
On a side note, Dad Eric had an interview today and it went very well! He was guaranteed a second one; the HR lady said she will call next week after Labor Day to set up a time for round 2!
And that reminds me, Hope you had a HAPPY LABOR DAY, YOU SLAVES TO THE SYSTEM! Enjoy your token day off. (side note from Dad Eric: But at least you all HAVE jobs!)
Be cool, all.
